Jay Kelley

Jay Kelley of Santa Clara is the proud owner of te worst kick.  In a game against Cal, Kelley connected his foot to the ball, which went almost straight upward.  While up in the air, the ball went slightly backwards and landed a yard behind Kelley, where it proceeded to roll the wrong way.  The punter from Santa Clara was credited with a punt of minus 25 yards.
