Longest Run

The longest run in a Lehigh/Lafayette game was accomplished by Snooks Dowd in 1918.  He ran in the wrong direction, circled his own goalposts, and then ran the length of the field for a touchdown.  It is thought that he covered 115 yards in the run, but it has been exaggerated up to 210 yards.  Dowd ended up with a very brief career in major league baseball (16 games).
